GFWE Representatives Meet Uganda Senior Presidential Advisor Vincent Ssempijja
On May 13, 2024, GFWE representatives met Hon. Vincent Bamulangaki Ssempijja, Senior Presidential Advisor of the Republic of Uganda and former Minister of Defence and Veteran Affairs, during a visit to Uganda. The meeting was an occasion for friendly exchange on trade connectivity in East Africa and GFWE’s vision for a connected, reliable global freight forwarding community. A traditional Chinese landscape painting was presented as a gesture of friendship and cultural exchange.

GFWE Representatives Visit the DRC Embassy in China and Meet Ambassador François Balumuene Nkuna
On April 1, 2024, GFWE representatives visited the Embassy of the Democratic Republic of the Congo in Beijing and met H.E. François Balumuene Nkuna, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the DRC to the People’s Republic of China. The two sides exchanged views on China–Africa business connectivity and closer communication between logistics and business communities. GFWE introduced its vision for a verified, connected global freight forwarding network, and a commemorative gift was presented to the Ambassador as a gesture of friendship and goodwill.

GFWE Joins Celebration of 20 Years of China–Dominica Diplomatic Relations
On March 23, 2024, GFWE representatives took part in the celebration of the 20th anniversary of diplomatic relations between the People’s Republic of China and the Commonwealth of Dominica (established March 23, 2004). During the event they met The Hon. Roosevelt Skerrit, Prime Minister of the Commonwealth of Dominica, and Mrs. Melissa Skerrit, and took commemorative photographs — a moment of friendship and international exchange beyond the freight industry.

GFWE Joins German Chamber Economic Outlook 2024 – Shenzhen Edition and Spring Reception
On February 29, 2024, GFWE took part in the German Chamber Economic Outlook 2024 – Shenzhen Edition, opened by Martin Klose (Executive Director and Board Member, German Chamber of Commerce in China – South & Southwest) with keynotes by Frank Sieren, Dr. Yue Su and Ulf Reinhardt, a panel discussion and the Chamber’s Spring Reception. In conversations throughout the event, GFWE representatives introduced the alliance and its global freight forwarding network to members of the Sino-German business community.

GFWE Representatives Meet German Chamber Executive Director Martin Klose in Guangzhou
On February 18, 2024, GFWE representatives met Mr. Martin Klose, Executive Director and Board Member of the German Chamber of Commerce in China – South & Southwest, in Guangzhou. The exchange covered international business connectivity, Sino-German economic relations and the role of trusted logistics networks in supporting companies that trade across borders — and how GFWE can connect the logistics industry with the wider international business community.

GFWE Representatives Visit Phoenix New Media and Meet Editor-in-Chief Xu Huchuan
On January 17, 2024, GFWE representatives visited Phoenix New Media (ifeng.com) in Shenzhen and met Mr. Xu Huchuan, Editor-in-Chief of Phoenix New Media Shenzhen and founder of the “Chief Interview” program. The exchange covered media communication, brand development and the role of professional content in connecting logistics companies with global markets — how members of a freight network become visible, tell their story and get discovered by partners worldwide.

GFWE Representatives Meet Dominica Ambassador to China H.E. Martin Charles
On December 27, 2023, GFWE representatives met H.E. Martin Charles, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Commonwealth of Dominica to the People’s Republic of China, in Beijing. The exchange covered international connectivity and closer links between China, the Caribbean and the wider business community; GFWE introduced its vision for a connected, reliable global freight forwarding network. Three months later GFWE joined the China–Dominica 20th anniversary celebration.

GFWE Hosts a Private Gathering for Women Entrepreneurs
On May 28, 2023, GFWE (Global Federation of Women Entrepreneurs) hosted a private afternoon-tea gathering for women entrepreneurs at the Mandarin Oriental, Shenzhen. Guests from different fields came together for personal connection and cross-industry exchange; the small-group format gave them space to meet face to face, share perspectives and begin relationships beyond a formal business setting.

On February 22, 2023, GFWE took part in an event of the British Chamber of Commerce South China, connecting with the international business community and exploring opportunities for cross-border collaboration.
