Representatives of GFWE (Global Freight World E-Alliance) visited Uganda on May 13, 2024. During the visit, they met with Hon. Vincent Bamulangaki Ssempijja.
He was Senior Presidential Advisor of the Republic of Uganda and a former Minister of Defence and Veteran Affairs.

Africa is an increasingly important part of global trade and logistics. Within East Africa, Uganda serves as an important gateway for regional trade. It also supports connectivity with neighboring landlocked markets.

During the visit, GFWE representatives shared the alliance's vision for the global freight forwarding community. Specifically, it aims to develop a more connected, reliable, and efficient community.
A Moment of Friendship and Cultural Exchange
As part of the meeting, GFWE representatives presented a traditional Chinese landscape painting. It served as a gesture of friendship and cultural exchange.
Afterward, the two sides took a commemorative photograph. This marked a memorable moment of international exchange during GFWE's visit to Uganda.
For GFWE, building a truly global network goes beyond connecting companies. It also creates opportunities for communication and mutual understanding. In addition, it supports long-term relationships across different markets and cultures.
